321 Champions Challenge was a Game Changer
*Louise M. Conley, granddaughter of second president Francis John Cheney, issued a challenge exclusively for reunion classes and groups featured at Alumni Reunion 2017 as part of the 321 Champions Challenge. Louise pledged an undesignated gift of $10,000 to the reunion class or group that has the largest number of donors on March 21.
More than 100 reunion celebrants made a gift, but in the end, the Class of 1972 was victorious.
What Counts for Reunion Giving
All cash gifts made during the academic year (July 1, 2016 – June 30, 2017) will count towards the reunion gift, regardless of the designation. Additionally, multi-year pledges of $25,000 or more (with payments over five years) will count along with some Planned Gifts and Bequest intentions with proper documentation.
