321 Champions Challenge

You Finished a Marathon! Thank You from SUNY Cortland!

We did it! We called, emailed, tweeted and posted and you answered. 601 donors gave an impressive $117,073.70 in a 24-hour marathon giving day. 

Our original goal of 321 donors was surpassed at 3:04 p.m., securing the matching gift of $11,000 given by Victor M. Rumore II '84 and Michael J. Cappeto '71, M '73. Monica Bedford Voldstad '72, M '77 and Michael '81 and Catherine Suarez Leeolou '81 offered incentives when we reached 500 and 550 donors. Collectively, their gifts totaled $32,100 in addition to the $10,000 challenge to reunion celebrants from Louise M. Conley.

We are so proud to be Red Dragons. Your support will have a lasting impact on the education offered at SUNY Cortland by providing scholarships, classroom innovations, faculty and staff development, cultural programming and undergraduate research opportunities.

Additional Match Gift for Reunion Celebrants 

Louise M. Conley provided an undesignated gift of $10,000 to the reunion class or group that had the largest number of donors on March 21.
